Our ordering and product fulfillment process
Shopping our online catalog is a convenient way to purchase anything from a small inexpensive part to a more complex complete solar system. But we fully recognize that sometimes special circumstances exist. To provide additional service to our customers, each order is indiviually reviewed before being fulfilled and charging your credit card.
This extra step allows us to make sure complex orders have properly matched components and that they are suitable for your intended use. This means that your payment is also delayed and processed offline. Doing so provides an extra measure of credit card security and affords us the chance to make any corrections or clarifications before creating a charge on your account. Orders are generally reviewed and shipped within 48 hours (except weekends and holidays).
We use standard UPS shipment rates, plus an per order handling charge, but
some large items like collector panels do require additional crating and must
be shipped Freight On Board. A charge for this crating will automatically be
calculated on your invoice when it applies and a representative will contact
you regarding shipping.
No Sales Tax is charged on any order -
whether you order from within our home state (Florida) or not

Returns Policy
No merchandise may be returned without prior authorization. If the return is authorized, the buyer will be issued a return authorization (RA) number which must be clearly marked on the package. We'll credit the purchase price of all normally stocked merchandise returned in new condition, in original packaging, within 30 days of purchase. There will be a 20% restocking charge on merchandise returned after 30 days. Items not in salable condition and special-order items may not be returned for credit. All items must be returned freight-prepaid and insured.
Warranty Repairs
We perform warranty repairs for all products manufactured by Solar Development, Inc. For most other products warranty repairs must be done by the manufacturer. Contact us for instructions on returning the merchandise directly to the manufacturer for repair, which will save you time.
